I've spent my fair ...My parents have a house there. I've spent my fair share of time in Oakland. I've never lived there though. They do have a historic home that one can tour. They also have a yearly event on the square (probably coming up soon).<BR/><BR/>The best thing is Walnut Point State Park which is just north of Oakland. They have a little restaruant and it's nice having lunch overlooking the lake.
